how hard is it to get into junior varsity basketball?

ok well i am alright at basketball. there are some people better than me and some people not. i was just wondering if it would be absolutely ridiculous to try out for the junior varsity team. i am also doing drills and stuff and i am steadily getting better. thanks :)

1. depends how big ur high school is
2. it depends on the size of your school, and how competitive your league is. if your school is small enough, there may not be any try outs. and if the league is not very competitive, your practices may not be that hard, and winning might be easy. but the toughness of your practice will still depend on your coach regardless of the other teams.
